Math around the Room

Here are two ways Donna and Wendy incorporated mathematical concepts in two typical classroom routine.

Students made a concrete bar graph using their birthdays.  A scale and labels can be added to make it a 'real' bar graph :-)

The use of tally marks is reinforced in tracking who lost a tooth in the classroom.
